The fifth annual classic motor show will be held at Eaton Manor Country Estate near Church Stretton on May 20 to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Last year’s event raised over £3,000, and the team at Eaton Manor are looking to build on that success with this year’s event.

Over 150 classic vehicles are already booked in to exhibit on the day, from a 1912 Wolseley and a 1928 Rolls Royce to a 1942 Willys MB Jeep, as well as a number of Triumphs and various modern classics and one off specials.

Entry is free of charge and the classic vehicles will arrive from 10am, with gates opening to the general public at 11am. Refreshments will be available from 11am, including a licensed bar, barbeque, light lunches and cakes. There will also be a raffle with prizes including a wine hamper and subscriptions to magazines such as Classic Car Weekly and Land Rover Owner.

There will also be a number of craft and gift stalls, as well as special interest groups on display for visitors, including the Telford & District Amateur Radio Society and The Shropshire Astronomical Society.

Eaton Manor Owner, Nichola Cariss, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming both classic vehicle owners and their vehicles to the event, together with the general public, for what is set to be a fantastic day out for all the family.

“Anyone wishing to help us raise funds for Macmillan, either on the day or by donating items such as cakes, or tombola prizes, call 01694 724814 or email info@eatonmanor.co.uk.”
