Kirstie Allsopp’s children fly economy while she travels in business class because she does not want them to be spoiled, it has been reported.

According to The Sun, the Location, Location, Location star said a luxury such as flying business class is something to work towards and that it would be “an absurd waste of money and very spoiling” to upgrade Bay, 12, and 10-year-old Oscar.

Allsopp said: “If I’m going to spend money, it’s on the holiday itself rather than the flights.

“When we fly as a family, the boys do fly separately from Ben (partner Ben Andersen) and me if we’re not in economy together.”

The TV star, 46, said the family sat together when the boys were smaller but sit separately now that they are older.

“Club Class should be a huge treat you’ve worked hard for,” she said.

“If kids get used to it, what do they have to work towards? It seems like an absurd waste of money and very spoiling.”

Chef Gordon Ramsay previously said he did not pay for his four children to fly first class because it was not necessary for them to travel that way.
