Things are getting serious in the Majorcan villa one week before the show comes to an end.

Viewers will see two contestants dumped from Love Island in Monday’s episode as tensions rise in the villa following a dastardly challenge.

Fans of the ITV2 dating programme have been voting for their favourite couple over the past few days and the islanders will say goodbye to the pair with the fewest votes.

Prior to the couple’s exit, the reality stars play a game called Bang On Trend, in which they have to work out the hidden identities of their co-stars in tweets posted by the public.

Olivia Attwood and Chris Hughes, who are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend after weeks of splits and reunions, are among those to have their relationship tested over the revealing tweets.

Grime artist Stormzy’s recent online post, about Hughes, is read out to the group.

The rapper had tweeted: “Chris you’re too good for her mate.”

Upon learning that Stormzy thinks he is too good for Attwood, Hughes smiles, a reaction that irritates his partner.

She tells him: “I’m not bothered about the tweet, I’m bothered about your reaction but we all expect that from you anyway.”

They face another hurdle later in the game when a text involving Attwood is read out.

The message was regarding Attwood’s comments about Mike Thalassitis, which saw her say she would have sex with him in the private Hideaway, hours before patching things up with Hughes last week.

The tweets lead to a row between Attwood and Hughes, with Attwood saying in the villa’s private Beach Hut that “maybe Chris is too good for me”.

Elsewhere, tensions rise between Montana Brown and couple Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville as she learns that they had sent private texts to each other about her and her partner Alex Beattie.

Shocked to learn that the culprits were her close friends Allen and Somerville, Brown describes their actions as “seedy”.

In the Beach Hut, Brown says: “At first I was really surprised because everyone looks at Gabby and Marcel as the power couple who are mature and give sound advice and who stay out of the drama.

“So when it was revealed it was Gabby and Marcel, I was shocked to be honest.”
