Mrs Jaffray said: "The choir has been very lucky to secure the assistance of the composer, whose warmth, interest and generosity has resulted in dedicated, enthusiastic rehearsals by the choir, excited to bring this appealing work to Oswestry."

The concert takes place in Holy Trinity Church Oswestry on October 20 at 7.30pm.

Tickets priced £10/under 16 free and refreshments included, may be obtained from Choir members or on the door.
