Mark Lord who is a business consultant with Berrys at Shrewsbury, will be singing on stage for the farming charity, RAB,I and North West Air Ambulance at Byley in Cheshire on Friday.

“Its more than three years since I did anything on stage but I’m doing a one off to raise money for two really good causes. It is in memory of an old bank client of mine, Michael Richardson, who used to come down from Cheshire and support me in my AmDram musicals with Oswestry Musical Theatre Company,” said Mr Lord.

Mark appeared in more than 40 productions over the past 30 years taking the leading roles in many. He was creative director for more than 10 years during his time with Oswestry Musical Theatre Company.

Although he is best known for performing in Musical Theatre he said: “The programme of material for this show is really varied and there is something in it for everybody to enjoy. I have three people who I have sung with in the past helping me and we are all looking forward to this.”

The Summer Soiree in memory of Michael Richardson takes place at Byley Village Hall, Byley on Friday, at 7.30pm with a minimum donation of £10 including a glass of prosecco and strawberries and cream.
