Spring in their step

A spring tea dance will be held at the Llanwddyn Community Centre on Easter Sunday.

The event aims to take people back to the days of afternoon tea and vintage china.

Ruth Powell, one of the organisers from Llanwyddyn Events, said: "It has to be one of the most delightful ways of spending a springtime Easter Sunday afternoon.

"We are urging poeple to put on their best dancing shoes, Sunday frock and come along and enjoy a dance, a waltz, quickstep, Jive, Tango, or Fox Trot."

She said the music would be provided by the DJ, Power of Sound who has provided the entertainment a three previous popular events.

"Whether you dance or watch you can do so whilst you work your way through a lovely afternoon tea."

Llanwddyn Events is known for organising a folk and acoustic weekend, the annual ball and being involved in the bonfire and fireworks night.

Tickets are £8 and includes and afternoon tea. Proceeds from this event will pay for the springtime and summer flowers on display annually around Llanwddyn Village.
