Olympic archer Patrick Houston at Oswestry's British Ironwork Centre

British Olympian and three time World Champion archer Patrick Houston will be in Shropshire this week.

Houston, who is a member of Urban Archery, will be at the British Ironwork Centre in Oswestry.

He will be hosting a number of archery shootouts for members of the public to take part in as well as showcasing his incredible talents.

Houston will be at the centre on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 10am to 4pm.

The Belfast native lives in Shropshire and trains at East Belfast Archery Club in Belfast.

His coach is Olly Logan and they have worked together since 2014.

Patrick started archery in 2004 and made his international debut in 2012. He is right handed, his arrows are 29.25" long and his draw weight is 50 lbs.
