Theatre company, IKP says it is delighted to be touring again with a swashbuckling summer adventure, Treasure Island when hero Jim encounters pirates on his mission to find gold.

Joe Hackett, from the Gloucester based theatre company said: "After the year we’ve all had, we’re really keen to get back out on the road and bring some fun and laughter to families around the country. This pop-up panto is a great way for families, friends and communities to come together and have a night out and a laugh again in a safe and socially distanced way."

The pantomime will return to the area on June 26 with a show at the Telford Hotel and Golf Resort.

Tim Ashton from Soulton Hall said its open air theatre was built last year and proved a great success.

"As families were not able to go to the pantomime last winter we thought it would be great for them to enjoy a summer production," he said.

"We had an Alan Auckbourne play her last weekend as restrictions were eased but this is for the whole family and will be a great start to the half term.

Tickets for the show are £12, and available from eventbrite.co.uk/e/treasure-island-tickets-153307399559?aff=ebdsoporgprofile.
