Family event at Shropshire hotel and gardens
A Shropshire estate will host a treasure hunt, falconry displays, llamas and all manner of outdoor entertainment at a family event later this year.
Hawkstone Hall & Gardens, centred on a Grade 1 listed 18th century mansion near Market Drayton, has launched 'The Family Event' to cater for families in the half term from May 31 to June 2.
Activities will include an interactive treasure hunt, falconry and owl experience, crafts and entertainment by Shropshire Nannies, cinema nights, cake decorating, llama feeding and bike rides around the estate, which features a lily pond, apple orchard and secret garden.
Meanwhile parents can go for spa treatments, golf and lunch.
Prices for a family of three start from £570 for two nights, with a £150 surcharge per child. It also covers set meals including breakfast each morning and a three-course meal.
