Holly Teague, 23, has just completed her second year as a singing student at the royal conservatoire of music in Birmingham and has been awarded a place at the Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse (CNSMD) as part of the Erasmus scheme.

Holly, from Tilstock, near Market Drayton, was offered the program's only soprano place. But in order to get to Paris, she needs to raise money for accommodation, living costs and travel.

Listen to Holly:

Holly said: "I'm completely thrilled to be offered the place, I feel super lucky and so so excited.

"CNSMD is an amazing school with a fantastic reputation across Europe, it’s so great for me vocally and professionally, personally also of course.

"The institution typically accepts one UK student each year, so I just feel so privileged."

Holly has already planned the first of her fundraising events that will support her Parisian experience, an afternoon concert on September 8 at Wem Baptist Church.
