The group, featuring Will.I.Am, Taboo, and Apl.De.Ap, will tour across Europe for the first time in eight years, playing the O2 Academy in October.

The American group, which formerly featured Fergie, formed in 1995. Their third studio album, Elephunk, propelled them into the spotlight upon its release in 2003, featuring hit songs such as Hey Mama, Shut Up, and Where Is The Love?

At the 52nd Grammy Awards ceremony, held in January 2010, they won three awards out of six nominations.

The trio have since gone on to release a further three studio albums, as well as new single Get It this year.

The Black Eyed Peas will play Birmingham's O2 Academy on October 29.
