Newtown Musical Theatre Company to produce Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Newtown Musical Theatre Company is busy preparing for its next production, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", which will be performed at the Hafren, Newtown from October 17 -20.

For the first time in its history the company will have one of its show interpreted in sign language on the side of the stage.

Cheryl Walker, an official British Sign Language signer, will be taking people with hearing problems through the productionat the Saturday matinee performance, at 2.30pm on October 20.

Theatre company spokesman, Jonathan Davies said Cheryl has signed for a variety of shows throughout England and Wales.

"The company is really pleased to be able to offer this service for those that are hearing impaired," he said

Tickets for the Saturday matinee performance, and all other performances, are £15 with £12.50 concessions, and are available from The Hafren box office by phoning 01686 614555 or www.thehafren.co.uk.
