Fang-tastic! Sink your teeth into Dracula comedy at Severn Valley Country Park
Bram Stoker’s famous gothic fantasy will be performed with a twist next month.
Rain or Shine Theatre Company will be performing Dracula in a comedic style at Severn Valley Country Park in Alveley, near Bridgnorth, on December 1.
Set in Transylvania in 1897, it follows a lone English solicitor who makes an ill-fated visit to an important client at a remote and mysterious castle.
Soon afterwards, Count Dracula moves to London, where a bizarre plague begins to strike its inhabitants.
There will be authentic Victorian costumes, with a cast of four playing a whole host of characters. The performance will be held in the visitor centre at the country park, which has seating for up to 60 people.
Visitor centre manager, Susie Comaish said: “We love welcoming Rain or Shine Theatre Company to the park.
“Their performances always leave the audience laughing.
“It’s an entertaining evening out so join us for a fang-tastic time.”
The show is at 7pm. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £6 for children.
