The Wolverhampton CAMRA beer and cider festival returns to the Newhampton Arts Centre again for 2018.

The event will include a wide variety of beers, ciders and perry, with a souvenir glass available on entry.

Romstock - Romsley Playing Fields, Halesowen

The Quarrymen

John Lennon's former band The Quarrymen will headline Romstock this weekend.

The Quarrymen, formed by Lennon in 1956 before The Beatles, will be at the festival, known as Romstock, on June 9, with some of Lennon's former bandmates in the line-up.

Rod Davis, a former schoolfriend of Lennon's, will feature alongside Colin Hanton, Len Garry and Charles Newby – who have all performed alongside various members of The Beatles.

The festival, which is in its seventh year, launched in 2012 for the Queen's Jubilee and now attracts more than 1,000 people.

British Queen Of Blues Elkie Brooks will play a show in Shrewsbury this Saturday.

The Lancashire-born blues and rock star, now aged 72, is best known for songs such as Pearl's A Singer, Fool If You Think It's Over and Lilac Wine.

Bewdley Carnival - Bewdley Leisure Centre

Bewdley Carnival

Bewdley Carnival returns to provide fun for all the family this weekend.

The parade will start at Hales Park at 1am, head into town and to the Leisure Centre field.

While at the field, there will be a range of stalls and entertainment acts including Paws For Thought canine display team, HCW Wrestling, West Midlands Tae Kwon Do, Severn Side School of Dancing, Glamba and Ternevale alpacas.

The eagerly-anticipated Cosford Air Show returns this Sunday.

The RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team will open this year's event, which will include a number of amazing aircraft displays and ground exhibitions.

The event will feature a unique mix of aircraft, spanning the 100-year history of the Royal Air Force, which will be showcased in the flying display and in the special RAF100 Static Exhibition.
