Next weekend's event will include exhibitions of all manner of rare and retro vehicles, as well as food and drink and competitions for a number of categories.

The husband and wife duo that run the show revealed that 120 more vehicles have been signed up for exhibition than in any previous year.

The festival began in 2015 as a one off event in memory of Wes Shore, a Market Drayton man who loved vintage lorries. His son Nathan and daughter in law Nicky wanted to raise money for the Princess Royal Hospital that looked after Wes, and thought a transport show a fitting tribute.

Nikcy said: "We have received a bumper load of entries with lots of new exhibitors wanting to join us. Although we have been extremely busy answering emails, delivering leaflets, promoting on social media, putting up banners et cetera we are very much looking forward to a great show and feel excited that it has stepped up a gear.

"What was supposed to be a one off show in 2015, has grown somewhat into a regular event and we can't thank everyone enough for supporting us by showing their vehicles and visiting the show and also local companies who have sponsored us in anyway they can."

This year's festival will take place on August 19, beginning at 10am.
