Tim Vine - Birmingham Town Hall

Tim Vine

Comedian Tim Vine will entertain fans in Birmingham this weekend.

The star, best known for his role on TV show Not Going Out (before he left the programme in 2012), as well as his quick-fire puns when performing live.

The 50-year-old comic will perform at the Town Hall as part of his Sunset, Milk, Idiot tour.

Symphonic Rock - Symphony Hall, Birmingham

Symphonic Rock

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will perform an array of classic rock and pop hits, from Led Zeppelin, to Michael Jackson, Queen, Bon Jovi, Take That and The Rolling Stones.

The show will be presented by Phil Upton and feature vocals from Capital Voices.

Tickets are priced between £22.50 and £40.50.

Mamma Mia! - Wolverhampton Grand Theatre

ABBA-tastic musical Mamma Mia! is a theatre show for all ages, jam-packed full of the Swedish pop group's hits.

Composed by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, this play tells a story of a story of love, friendship and identity.

Runs till February 24.

Tickets for the Friday show cost between £17.50 and £64, and Saturday show prices are between £17.50 and £66 (for both the afternoon and evening shows).

Jonny Cash fans can enjoy a tribute act performing a range of hits by the American star.

The icon, born in 1932 and who died in 2003, was best known for hits such as Ring Of Fire, A Boy Named Sue, Folsom Prison Blues and I Walk The Line.

Beyond The Petticoat - Black Country Living Museum

This half term event will see the Dudley museum celebrate the 100th anniversary getting their first voting rights with hands-on activities and powerful characters who will bring women’s history to life.

Among the attractions will be Red Emma of Wolverhampton, a passionate champion of women’s rights and a key player in the suffrage movement, and the chance to have a go at brick-making, a trade which employed thousands of women of the Black Country throughout the 19th century.

Back to Bacharach - Oakengates Theatre, Telford

Back to Bacharach celebrates the music of Burt Bacharach, and the show is coming to Telford this weekend.

Songs featured include Alfie, Anyone Who Had A Heart, Arthur's Theme, Always Something There To Remind Me, Close To You, I Say A Little Prayer For You, Magic Moments, Walk On By, Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head and many more songs everyone will remember and fall in love with again.

The show has partnered with Breast Cancer Now and will donate £1 from each ticket to the cause.

Mass Chinese New Year celebration - Birmingham’s Chinatown

Chinese New Year

More than 30,000 people are expected to descend on the second city this year for this huge celebration.

The event will see an array of Chinese street food on offer, from dumplings to noodles, from a range of regions in China.

There will also be Chinese music and back-to-back cultural dances and movements on multiple stages.

The event will run from 11.30am to 5pm and entry is free.
