Hundreds of trucks from around the county and from across the UK were on show at the event on the Park Hall showground across Saturday and Sunday.

The long running event attracts big crowds, and this year was no different with scores of truck fans flocking to Oswestry over the weekend.

One of the truck companies showing off their impressive machines was Stanian, a Manchester based haulage firm.

Stanian's fleet of 40 trucks have become well known all over the country, due to their decorated cabs.

Designed by a member of the team, each individual truck has a different theme across it, with some showing disney films from years gone by, and other well known films and programmes.

Owner Phil Chambers said it was great to take the trucks out across the country to meet the trucking fans.

He said: "They are designed by one of the staff, and when they come out to shows like this everyone wants to see them.

"We're based up in Manchester but it is great to come to shows down here.

"We were in Knutsford last week, and we always come to the Oswestry one, it is a great show.

"We've been running for 35 years now and have 40 haulage trucks that go all over the country and go abroad.

"The designs turn heads for sure. You'll get people slowing up on the motorway way, people go racing down the outside lane but then stop when they see the cab."

It wasn't just the trucks that were on show over the weekend.

The special guest meeting people was actor Craig Charles, known for his roles in Coronation Street, Red Dwarf and the original host of Robot Wars.

People flocked to the retail village to grab their trucking merchandise, with a miniature steam railway, and stunt shows also taking place.

Shropshire's very own Trevor Pye haulage had some of his fleet on show.

Truck driver Clive Hardy was busy shining up the cabs all weekend, and said it is a great event to catch up with fellow truckers.

He said: "We come every year, and bring some of the fleet down.

"It is nice because as well as showing people around and letting them see the trucks, we also see other truckers.

"They're people we only see a couple of times a year, so it is a great event for both reasons."
