The Beat and The Selecter announce Wrexham show

2-Tone legends The Selecter and The Beat are teaming up to play Wrexham's William Aston Hall this November.

The Selecter is led by their iconic frontwoman Pauline Black, and co-fronted by original member Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson.

The band were one of the most successful ska bands of the 2-Tone era, notching up several top forty singles in the British charts such as Three Minute Hero, Missing Words and On My Radio.

Their latest album, Subculture, was mixed by UK dub-master Prince Fatty and released to critical acclaim in June 2015.

Birmingham band The Beat, fronted by Ranking Roger, released their fourth album Bounce - the first in over 30 years - in September 2016. Joining Roger in the revitalised band is his son Ranking Junior AKA Matthew Murphy.

The band are best known for hit singles Mirror In The Bathroom, Stand Down Margaret and Too Nice To Talk To.

The Selecter and The Beat are set to play Wrexham's William Aston Hall on November 25.
