Date for Ragley Hall International Model and Aviation Show finalised

The date for the brand new Ragley Hall International Model and Aviation Show has now been finalised for August 18-20.

The estate landlords have entrusted the organisation to The Wrekin MFC who also run the famous International Model Air Show at Weston Park.

Flying starts at 10am, with top displays thought the day.

The full-size display gets under way at 2pm on the Saturday and Sunday, with the famous Red Arrows display team showing off their aerobatic skills at 3pm.

The Saturday evening show gets under way at 9.30pm and runs until 10.30pm.

This wonderful location offers a unique venue for this new venture which organisers anticipate will quickly become the home for the premier UK late summer show.

There is also on site camping available from Thursday until Monday.

Booked to participate are a number of famous international flyers from across the UK and Europe, as well as the amazing Richard Goodwin with his full-size Pitts Special which will guarantee to give the event that special Wrekin MFC Touch, plus the Glider FX team will be there all weekend

Running alongside the air display, will be the model and display, Quad/First Person View Racing, a large boating regatta on the eight-acre lake and model car racing.

Prepare to be dazzled on the Saturday evening with an event featuring lazer lights, fireworks and a light show.

A large trade participation is anticipated as well as a swap meet.

The admission prices include adults £12, children £6, family £30, camping £65 pre paid or £70 on the gate. The night show is £10 per head.
