Oswestry theatre to host Noel Coward comedy

Noel Coward's comedy Blithe Spirit, concerning the love rivals beyond the grave, will be performed next week.

Tanat Theatre, based at the Green School Theatre in Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant, near Oswestry, will be treading the boards on March 10 to 12 and 17 to 19 at 7.30pm.

The story follows a writer, played by Will Ferguson, who organises a seance in order to get material for a book, resulting in a series of unusual events when the seance goes wrong. The cast includes a mixture of old hands and new faces with Janet Needham as his wife, Alan Jones and Sheila Borer as a family doctor and his wife who attend the seance, and the eccentric medium being played by Joanna Ferguson.

Tickets are £6 for adults and £3 for children, and are available from The Paper Shop and Greatorex Stores in Llanrhaeadr. They may also be booked on (01691) 860497.
