The 86-year-old will perform at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place in February.
The Liverpudlian comedian has not stopped entertaining since he turned professional in 1954, and today continues to pack theatres all over the UK.
He is renowned for his marathon performances, which often go on until the early hours of the morning.
Dodd today said he still loves nothing better than making audiences laugh.
He addedy: "Right from the start of my career I realised that I loved slaving over hot audiences.
"Nothing has changed in all of those 60 years, because just as my audiences love a good laugh.
"I never get tired of entertaining them and I'm lookin forward to coming to Telford."
The comedian's Happiness Show will be on Thursday, February 13. Tickets are £21.
