McFly thrill fans at T-Live in Telford Town Park
[gallery] Pop rockers McFly sent thousands of fans into ecstasy as they brought the curtain down on T-Live in Telford Town Park.
More than 3,000 people attended the event on Saturday, which escaped the expected downpours which had been forecast earlier in the week.
Shropshire bands Madison and The Making also performed on stage, along with Stooshe, Loveable Rogues and Luminites.
Officials from Telford and Wrekin Council, which organised the event, said they were delighted with the response from the crowd and hoped it highlighted the town's ability to stage major events.

Council leader Kuldip Sahota said: "We are delighted that our first major concert in the QEII Fields In Trust Arena was such a success, with more than 3,000 people enjoying a high profile and high quality festival.
"We were blessed with unexpectedly dry and at times pleasant weather and our fantastic crowd gave a very warm Telford and Wrekin welcome to six extremely talented bands.
"We witnessed brilliant performances by our Band Slam winners The Making and Madison and it was a proud moment for everyone in Telford to see our local bands perform on a big stage.
"I would also like to thank Loveable Rogues, Luminites, Stooshe and our excellent headliner McFly for making T-Live a memorable day with performances out of the top drawer.
"We have learned a lot in putting on our first major gig in the arena and we know there are certain things that can be improved for next time.
"But on the whole, it was a wonderful day and together with the success of T-Party the previous weekend, we believe we have provided the borough with a very special week of celebration."
