Sarah Pryce, aged 22, from Coton Hill in Shrewsbury has just completed 12 months as an apprentice, gaining her Level 3 diploma, and the practice has now created a role for her within the firm.

Joining the staff is new apprentice Katherine Lear, aged 18, from Hook-a-Gate, near Shrewsbury, who is a former Meole Brace School pupil and also attended Shrewsbury Sixth Form College.

Ms Pryce said: "I am absolutely thrilled to have completed my apprenticeship and look forward to growing in my position within the firm.

"I am really grateful to have been given this opportunity and for the amazing support from fellow staff with my training throughout the year."

The pair were introduced to Nick Jones Wealth Planning by Jason Harris of Harlescott-based SBC Training, who added: "Sarah has simply made the job her own and the practice has actually created a special role for her which is a great testament to her character. Katherine is following in her footsteps and will continue the same course of modular training while in the job over the next 12 months.

"Credit must go to Nick Jones Wealth Planning for giving these youngsters such an great chance in the first place and it is very gratifying to see one person gain full time employment through the apprentice scheme, followed closely by another, which is great succession planning."

Practice director Nick Jones added: "Sarah is a valued member of our close-knit team, while Katherine is also very much on the right track."
