Henlle Hall, which has holiday cottages and holiday lodges to let in Gobowen, near Oswestry, is currently building two new lodges.

Keeta Thomas, business manager at Henlle Hall, said the firm was looking to employ four part-time members of staff and one full-time staff member to join their housekeeping team in the coming months.

She hopes that total will be up to 10 by the end of the year.

Ms Thomas said: "It's an extremely exciting time for us here. We've got our new lodges, which will be ready for guests by the spring, and with the demand for holidaying in our cottages and lodges increasing we intend to provide vacancies for 10 more jobs this year.

"It's great to see people coming here to stay and not going much further than a five to 10-mile radius on their days out because they're that impressed by what the local area has to offer, and how beautiful it is."

The firm is also celebrating after scooping an award for its standard of customer care.

Ms Thomas said: "We've also recently won a Hoseasons award for the third year running for exceptional quality and outstanding customer care, so it's been a good start to the year for us."

The firm currently employs four full-time members of staff and 17 part time. Ms Thomas said the new jobs would include a number of roles such as housekeeping and gardening.
