“We have played all over the Midlands area and we seem to be getting a bit of a following,” says Gavin Herbert, vocalist with Telford rock band Guns for Girls. “It’s getting a bit busier at gigs.”
“Original bands tend to get a lot of column inches, says Mike Holloway, singer with the HMV Band. “But covers bands don’t.”
“We find it difficult to play in Shrewsbury because a lot of pub venues tend to want cover bands, but we don’t do covers, we play our own material.” So says Mark Johnson, singer and guitarist with Judas Johnson.
