A Shropshire hotelier says it was a ‘great honour’ to have actor David Tennant and fellow cast members stay at his hotel while they filmed scenes for a new movie nearby.

It may have been Halloween, but the village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, near Oswestry, was decked out for Christmas as it welcomed time-traveller David Tennant.

It’s interesting that the finale of Doctor Who series six dealt with alternative realities. I imagine that somewhere out there, in some far-off universe, series six ended with a truly satisfying story that appealed to both fans and casual viewers.
