Bridgnorth Rugby Club officials today vowed to ‘beg, borrow and steal’ to make sure one of its busiest weekends went ahead despite being hit by arsonists.
Bridgnorth left it late to book a place in the third round of the RFU Intermediate Cup – as they came from behind to win 36-22 at Cheltenham North.
Bridgnorth and Newport will go head-to-head in rugby’s Shropshire Cup final next week.
