Mick McCarthy’s men are back in the Molineux firing line tomorrow night in what is expected to be a battle of the shadow squads in the Carling Cup fourth round.
Then comes possibly one of the toughest assignments in world club football outside of the Nou Camp with the Premier League clash at Eastlands three days later.
Wolves go into both games with minimum expectations despite last season’s memorable performances against some of the country’s top forces.
