Wolves today received approval to open half of their new £16 million stand for tomorrow’s Premier League game against Tottenham.
The club gained a certificate from the Safety Advisory Group today after stringent checks to allow around 3,700 supporters into the bottom tier of the new Stan Cullis Stand at Molineux.
Capacity in the stand will be reduced for tomorrow’s game to ensure resources aren’t stretched in the event of any unforeseen issues during tomorrow’s ‘live test’ before Stan Cullis Stand season ticket holders return for the Premier League game against QPR on September 17.

Work continues on the currently uncovered structure, which will be completed by main contractors, the Buckingham Group, in May next year as phase one of the ground’s £40m redevelopment.
Fans in the stand tomorrow will get the first glimpse of the wider concourse facilities and an excellent view of the pitch.
Fans are urged to arrive early tomorrow to ensure entry through the access control system is completed for the 3pm kick-off.
