Wolves are no feeder club, says Karl Henry

Captain Karl Henry today insisted Wolves will keep their stars and add more quality players like Matt Jarvis after claiming: “We’re no feeder club”.
Double Player of the Year Jarvis has been linked with Aston Villa and Liverpool but pledged his future to Wolves after picking up his club awards last week.
Kevin Doyle is another who has plenty of admirers with Villa and Sunderland keen to on him, while Manchester City have been eyeing keeper Wayne Hennessey.
Henry himself is said to be top of QPR’s wanted list after their promotion to the Premier League. All would almost certainly have left if the club had been relegated.
But the 28-year-old midfielder believes Wolves will keep all the players they want.
“It’s imperative we keep players like Matt Jarvis and our other top stars and I think we will,” said the skipper.
“Since I’ve been here, this club haven’t been in the habit of selling their best players.
“We’re not a feeder club for anyone. We’re a club with ambition and the chairman has big ideas.
“He’ll be looking to buy more players like Jarvis rather than sell them.”
Manager Mick McCarthy is set to splash the cash again with up to five signings, with Jamie O’Hara set to arrive for £5m from Tottenham and Birmingham defender Roger Johnson also targeted.
