Karl Henry tells Wolves not to fear Aston Villa

Captain Karl Henry today challenged Wolves to go to Villa ‘without fear’ to continue their push for Premier League survival.
Mick McCarthy’s squad returned to training today after a four-day break to begin the countdown to Saturday’s derby at Villa Park.
Wolves haven’t beaten Villa in 17 games since 1980, while their away record of five points out of 42 is the worst in all four divisions.
But midfielder Henry believes they must see the derby as a real chance to continue their run of three unbeaten.
“If we can get points from our away games and try to win our home games we’ll be alright,” said Henry.
“I thought we maybe shaded it against Villa in terms of our performance earlier in the season but they nicked it at the end with Emile Heskey’s header (to win 2-1).
“We have to go there without fear and try to continue our performances of late and get a result.”
Wolves have also scored seven goals in their last two games and Henry feels the team is looking more menacing.
“It’s a great time for the strikers to be coming good and finding the net as they have been,” he said.
“Kevin Doyle got a couple against Spurs and it was great for everyone to see him on the scoresheet.”
