Shrewsbury Town's cup trip to Leeds rearranged

Shrewsbury Town's Capital One Cup trip to Leeds United has been brought forward to Saturday, August 11 (3pm).
The game was originally pencilled in for the following midweek but, with the season starting a week later than usual owing to the Olympic Games, both clubs have agreed to bring the fixture forward after talks with the police and Football League.
Meanwhile, former Shrewsbury Town winger Lionel Ainsworth has completed a move to Rotherham United.
The 24-year-old, released by Graham Turner at the end of last season, joins ex-Town team-mate Ian Sharps in linking up with the Millers.
And Rotherham chief Steve Evans revealed he had a traffic jam to thank for Ainsworth’s decision to join the League Two outfit.
“We’ve tried for four or five weeks to sign him and I thought he was off to League One as late as Friday evening but, thankfully for us, he got stuck on the M25 for six or seven hours, and I think that made his mind up,” said Evans.
“My final call was to Ian Sharps; I called him on Saturday morning and he said to get in the car and go and get him.
“I’m glad we’ve signed Lionel as he’s an exciting winger with frightening pace.
“He’s a match-winner and someone I look forward to working with.”
Ainsworth had a loan spell at Burton Albion last season after falling out of favour at the Greenhous Meadow.
