Shrewsbury Town’s three game winning streak was brought to a halt by on-song Torquay.
Taiwo Atieno grabbed the only goal of the game on 68 minutes, heading home in a scramble after Danny Stevens put a deep corner back in the danger zone.
Shrewsbury struck the bar through a James Collins header in the opening minute of what was an even and intriguing first half.
But they failed to truly threaten after falling behind as the opportunity of breaking into the top three of League Two passed them by.

Why is it that everyone that beats the Shrews is “on-song”. When will they ever realise that they too can be “on-song” against any team they meet. However it is a mental thing and those wearing the Shrews colours need to start singing straight away or else their theme tune will, by default, be “It’s Over”!!
