Shrewsbury Town remain on the League Two promotion trail after a relatively comfortable home victory inflicted a first away defeat of the season on Morecambe.
The recalled Nicky Wroe broke the deadlock with a 38th minute penalty after Nick Fenton was penalised for handballing a Terry Gornell centre.
And the game was put beyond doubt when Mark Wright nodded home a Marvin Morgan cross at the back post with two minutes remaining.
