Fans favourite Jermaine Grandison today reflected on his impressive progress at Shrewsbury and declared: “My best is yet to come.”
The former Coventry youngster has put an uncertain end to last season behind him by enjoying an eye-catching opening third to the 2011-12 campaign.
Grandison slotted in at centre back during Town’s defensive injury crisis, but it is at right back where he is truly making a name for himself.
“I’m really enjoying playing regular football,” said Grandison, who is earning a reputation for his trademark stepovers and attacking bursts forward.
