Shrewsbury shot-stopper Chris Neal today urged his side not to waste their chance to create club history this weekend.

Victory over AFC Wimbledon at the Greenhous Meadow would see Graham Turner’s side match a club record eight successive home triumphs in all competitions.

And recently recalled Neal is anxious for his side complete a quickfire home double – after Tuesday’s 1-0 triumph over Accrington – as they seek to consolidate their position back in League Two’s top three.

“It would be great to be part of a record like that, particularly in front of our own fans,” said 26-year-old Neal.
