Graham Turner calls for Shrews to hit back
Saturday 1st October 2011, 11:30AM BST.
Disappointed boss Graham Turner today set his sights on an immediate response after Shrewsbury Town missed out on the chance to hit the League Two summit.
Town were beaten 3-0 by Southend last night as the Roots Hall outfit claimed top spot.
Turner admitted his side had been well short of their best but remains satisfied with their overall position at the quarter mark of the season after a run of six League victories from seven before last night.
“It has been a bad night but you look at the bigger picture at times,” said the Town boss.
“We can put this to one side and think about what we have done for most of the games this season.
“We have an opportunity to put it right against Barnet at home next Saturday.”
