Marvin Morgan of Shrewsbury Town tussles for the ball amongst the Hereford United defenders

A brace from Marvin Morgan helped Shrewsbury to a fourth successive League victory – and to the top of League Two for a few hours at least.

Morgan broke the deadlock on seven minutes before wrapping the game up on 79.

In between, Mark Wright put Shrewsbury 2-0 up while Tom Barkhuizen gave Hereford hope when pulling one back on 73 minutes.

The only sour note for Shrewsbury was the 62nd minute dismissal of Terry Gornell for a tackle on Hereford goalkeeper Dave Cornell which drew a straight red card from referee Oliver Langford.
