Shrewsbury Town fans began getting their hands on tickets for the Carling Cup tie against Arsenal today as they went on sale at the club’s ground.
The League Two club will travel to north London to take on the Premier League side in the third round of the competition on September 19.
Tickets have been on sale online but the ticket office at the Greenhous Meadow opened at 9am today while phone lines also opened this morning.
Fan Brian Williams, 72, of Radbrook Green, who was one of the first to get a ticket for the game, said the match should be a special occasion.
