Date set for Shrewsbury Town v Arsenal clash

Giant-killing Shrewsbury Town’s glamour clash with top-flight giants Arsenal will take place on September 20 and supporters will be able to snap up tickets for as little as £10, officials said today.
The kick-off time for the Carling Cup third round tie is 7.45pm.
Ian Bebbington, Shrewsbury Town operations manager, said ticket prices would be £10 for adults and £5 concessions in the lower tier, with upper tier tickets costing £20 adults and £10 concessions.
He said: “The date of the match has now been confirmed as Tuesday, September 20.
“Our allocation is just over 9,000 tickets split between the upper tier and lower tier. We will be sent an initial batch of between 3,000 and 5,000 and can ask for more if required.”
No date has yet been set for tickets to go on sale and fans are advised to check the club website.
