Pressure on Shrewsbury Town, says boss
Friday 19th August 2011, 11:29AM BST.
Defender Carl Regan is set to miss Shrewsbury Town’s crunch League Two clash with Crewe Alexandra tomorrow – with boss Graham Turner admitting: “The pressure is on.”
Town have picked up just two points from their first three league games and a thigh injury for Regan has hampered their preparations for the home clash with Dario Gradi’s men.
But Crewe have lost all three of their league games so far and Turner is eager to see Town starting to justify his conviction that they can challenge for promotion.
“We’ve not had the start that we would have wanted and neither have Crewe, so you have got two groups of players playing under a little bit of added pressure,” said Turner.
