Shrewsbury Town were today kicking off the new League Two season with another encouraging boost from their loyal supporters – as season ticket sales closed in on 3,000.
Town fans have put a third play-off defeat in five years behind them to rally behind manager Graham Turner and his team for the 2011-12 campaign.

“Season ticket sales are pushing 3,000 including Sovereign Club members,” said ticket office manager Sean Evans.
