Bucks v Shrews in Shropshire Senior Cup
Wednesday 27th April 2011, 4:00PM BST.
AFC Telford United and Shrewsbury Town go head to head tonight after a somewhat chaotic few weeks for the Shropshire FA.
Their determination to stage the game this month at one stage saw Market Drayton Town invited to compete in Telford’s place before an about-turn.
“It was a shame that we were unable to schedule it at a more convenient time for both clubs,” said Shropshire FA chief executive Roy Waterfield today.
“We are extremely grateful to the chairmen and managers for the efforts they are making in maintaining the history of Shropshire’s senior football competition.”
Entry tonight is £10 for adults or £5 for season ticket holders of either club and concessions. Under-11s can get in for £2.

erm no thanks, think i will give this one a miss. I hope less than 500 turn up to watch what has become nothing but a farce.

£10 to see youth teamers first year pros, that sounds a bargain. Especially with more important games on the horizon and the possibility of playoffs.
Hope the Shropshire FA get what they deserve from their shambolic organisation and from insisting that this game is played right in the middle of both senior Shropshire team’s crucial run ins – i.e. a tiny gate.

I heard Telford had only sold 39 tickets at 11.00 this morning, I hope Shrewsbury fans show this competition similar disreguard .
