Shrewsbury Town’s automatic promotion destiny is out of their own hands after a goalless draw with Accrington.
Town struggled to impose themselves in the first half and were grateful for a fine double save from Ben Smith for reaching half-time goalless.
The hosts improved after the break with James Collins and Tom Bradshaw flashing shots just over.
But Shrewsbury couldn’t make the breakthrough and must now rely on a Wycombe slip in the final two games if they are to earn automatic promotion to League One.

come on roland wycherley change that ruddy awful lenny the lion badge, the club shop is full of nice things which will not sell because of the motifs thereon. when the shrews have a 3 loggerheads and floreat salopia badge returned to them, then we will start winning something.
so come on uncle roland if you want a permanently over stocked shop, you just carry on with that ruddy lenny the lion badge. floreat salopia and 3 loggerheads . aj devon
