Shrewsbury Town secured a vital first League Two victory since November 23 on an impressive night in Lancashire.
There were fears Town’s five match winless streak would be extended when they fell behind to a deflected Terry Gornell shot on 47 minutes.
But Town’s response was emphatic and a brace from new recruit James Collins and a strike from Mark Wright sealed an important triumph on the road.
