Oh how i wish that words of wisdom from positive talking people such as Turner and fans such as myself would turn into points, the fact is it just never works like that in football.
We still don’t quite know whether the ongoing team and spirit that Turner is trying to build and that we all share in will turn into a promotion outfit or merely another ongoing platform for the following season.
Sadly players that were playing out of their skins early in the season have become mediocre and newer more promising players just aren’t quite firing on all cylinders either, this has enevitably led to exactly what we deserve, a slide down the table.
One thing that rarely gets talked about in the press is the ability of the people that are in charge of training routines, this is behind the scenes but should be clearly indicated in the way we end up playing on a Saturday, lets face it we have good players that are not receiving the best training standards for us to progress beyond this division, change that and things might change drastically.
