Crucial day in Shropshire's cricket title fight

Shropshire's bid to end their near 40-year wait for Minor Counties Championship was reaching a crucial crossroads today.

Ed Foster’s side resumed the final day of their Western Division clash at Dorset trailing by 247 runs with the hosts having five second innings wickets in hand.

All three results were still possible at Dean Park in Bournemouth, and the day could have a huge bearing on the outcome of the title.
