The 23-year-old, who has played 17 Tests for Australia, has been named in the Worcestershire squad to take on Shropshire at Shrewsbury in a Twenty20 challenge match.
The Pears are using it as a warm-up match for their Twenty20 campaign which begins with a derby against Warwickshire at Edgbaston on Friday.
“It’s always a good occasion to go up against a First Class county and everyone is looking forward to it,” said Shropshire captain Ed Foster.
The action is due to get underway at 5.30pm with admission £5.
Meanwhile, Shropshire were today hoping to push for a final day victory in their Minor Counties Championship clash with Cheshire at Bridgnorth.
Shropshire began the final day, which started 30 minutes early to make up for time lost because of rain lost, 270 runs clear with one second innings wicket in hand.
