They ended the prospect of an all-Mid Shropshire final by beating Allscott by 21 chalks last night on the old green at Prees.
Darren Powis was the best of eight Old Shrewsbury winners out of 12 with a 21-12 card as they always had their noses in front, Jane Craggs tops in reply with a 21-9 success over Tony Poole.
Meanwhile, the County Cup semi-final between Chester Road and Hanwood will be held at Hadley USC next Wednesday.
The game was originally scheduled for last Saturday but was postponed because of the weather.
Meole Brace gained sole position of second spot in the Furrows Shropshire Premier League last night – desite losing their Shrewsbury derby with Castlefields 10-4.
Meole moved out of a tie with Newport to go within six points of leaders Chester Road, but their title rivals have both played one game less.
