Shares for AFC Telford United will "almost certainly" be put back on sale in the next seven days.
Chairman Ian Dosser said that they would definitely be available by the end of the month, but that the club was aiming to get everything in order to release them by the end of this week.
After the 20 per cent cap was waived at the club board's AGM last month, investors will be able to purchase as many shares as they would like when they are re-released to the public.
Around 140 supporters bought shares when they went on sale in 2016, with 32 per cent of the total being picked up by fans.
But two potential investors were put off, because of the limit on the maximum number of shares they could own.
Mr Dosser said that lifting the limit had not been done with anybody in particular in mind, but instead hoped that it would "take away a barrier" for those considering spending more than the limit.Subscribe to our Newsletter
